Most of what goes wrong at home is a mess, not an emergency. This badge is about telling the difference — and about SCAN, which is the four steps SOS 4 Kids teaches for the times it really is one.
How this works. Five lessons, six situations to work through, then the Badge Challenge, which is built around collecting the four letters of SCAN. About an hour. This teaches first aid; it is not a first aid certificate.
