The internet is a genuinely brilliant place and this badge is not going to pretend otherwise. It is about four habits, one conversation you should see coming, and knowing that the person who is kindest to you online is not automatically your friend.
How this works. Four lessons, a real conversation to walk through message by message, then the Badge Challenge. About forty minutes. Parents: lesson 3 shows a grooming conversation as it actually unfolds. It is not graphic, and seeing the pattern is the single most protective thing a child this age can learn.
