The Online Safety Badge Challenge
Badge Challenge
Step 27 of 43 in the course
Five statements, true or false. All five right to earn the badge. These are the SOS 4 Kids questions from the course.
1. You should tell a trusted adult if somebody writes a mean comment about you online.
2. It is okay to share everything, including passwords, with your best friend.
3. It is risky to accept every online friend request.
4. It is harmless fun to post selfies and photos of your friends online.
5. It is okay to post your age, your school or your address online.
Badge earned
You know the four rules, you have seen how a conversation like that actually unfolds, and you know what to do about cyberbullying whether it is aimed at you or at somebody else. That is the Online Safety badge.
A certificate is issued by SOS 4 Kids to the parent or guardian on record. Certificates carry an expiry date — safety knowledge is refreshed, not filed away.
