Right, and it sounds harsh, but it is just true. Two things are known: an account exists, and it contacted you. Ask your cousin. If your cousin says “who?”, that tells you everything.
That is a typed line. Naming a school is free. Naming your cousin is free, and a cousin’s name is easy to find from your own posts. Could you check it yourself, today, without asking them? Only by asking the cousin. So do that before you believe the profile.

Which reply do you send, before anything else?
That is the question. Ask the person who added them, in the open chat. If Priya says “my cousin, known him since I was three”, you are done. If Priya says “he followed me last week”, you know what you have.
Ask the friend, not the stranger. Asking them which school they go to gets you a typed line. Asking Priya how she knows them gets you a fact. Saturday can wait until you have it.

Right. The game chat is not broken. If they are who they say, they lose nothing by staying in it. Staying where people can see is not rude. It is just where you are.
Look at what actually changed. Not the person, not the game. Only where the conversation can be seen. That is the only thing moving does, and it is the whole reason for asking. The bit about not mentioning it is the fourth shape on the list, the same request louder.
