Correct, and the earlier fix was the wrong kind of fix. Lightening the floor made the puddle visible; it did not make it the subject. The camera has now moved: it is down at a child’s eye level, inside the doorway, looking at the floor. The puddle sits dead centre and fills the middle of the frame, a drip falls into it from the wet umbrella while you watch, the yellow boots stand in the wet at its edge, and wet footprints track away from it. The stairs and the backpack are pushed to the far edge where they belong.

Also correct, and I can show you why the first attempt failed. What I had called “brighter” was brighter overall while the shadows themselves stayed just as deep and the whole room kept an orange late-afternoon cast. The shot has been re-lit as flat midday daylight and then the shadows lifted directly. Nothing in the room moved — same counter, same case, same green cross, same lettering, same hand.

3Your badges — where they actually are

Your badges were never redrawn and never replaced. The artwork the course serves is cut straight out of the PDF your office supplied — Badges — colour copy, laminate, trim & 3-hole punch, seven pages, created 14 November 2018. The only thing done to it was to lift each badge off its blue background so it can sit on any page.

4The certificate — the one thing I cannot do yet

BUILT FROM YOUR OWN FILES — needs your yes or no.

Your decision is accepted and settled: the original certificate artwork is the artwork, and nothing of mine replaces it. What I do not have is the artwork itself as a file. It reached me as a picture pasted inside an email, which cannot be placed at print quality.

Before asking again I searched everything already on this site — all 1,470 media items, every PDF, and the seven original 2017 course packages. Your badge artwork is there, which is why item 3 above could be proved. The certificate is not there in any form. In the original course the certificate was never part of the course files at all; the narration says “download your certificate from the Learner dashboard”, so it lived in the old learning system rather than in the lessons.

Print-ready, US Letter landscape, 300 dpi. Your seven 2018 badges lifted from your own PDF and your two supplied logo files placed as-is. Nothing drawn, nothing generated, and “Badge Challenge” appears nowhere on it.

How the film itself was protected

Two shots were replaced inside a finished film, which risks knocking Josh’s narration out of step with the captions. So it was checked rather than assumed: the audio was decoded and hashed before and after, and the film held to its original length.
