The opening of the course: what you will learn, then the seven badges and how the certificate is earned. Narrated and captioned.

Updated 11 August. The numbering is gone from the narration and the captions, the crosswalk shot now crosses to a curb and sidewalk, and the badge challenge has been added with Velma’s wording. The certificate is named the Home Alone Safety for Kids certificate, as she confirmed.
What the narrator says

- Being safe on your own — the door, the phone, and the people you can trust.
- Staying safe online — games, group chats, and knowing when something is not right.
- Fire safety — what the smoke alarm means, and how to get out.
- Preventing accidents, by spotting them before they happen.
- Basic first aid, so you know exactly what to do if someone gets hurt.
- Your own home alone readiness plan, made with your parent or guardian.
The badge challenge
Seven gray badges fill in one at a time, left to right, as the narrator names them — then the certificate, then Street Smarts on its own as the call to action.
