Basic First Aid
The whole First Aid module, running in the SOS player. Every screen is the original artwork and the original narration, rebuilt from the course package – nothing re-recorded, nothing redrawn by hand. Pause, scrub, go back, and it fits a phone.
Changes made on the way in – all reversible
- RICE keeps its E. The current brief teaches R, I and C; the recording of the Elevate step was in the archive, unused. It is back, in the original voice.
- The “go and pick your items” instructions are out of the teaching. Two of the four RICE recordings ended by sending the child off to select things, mid-list. Both were lifted out; one of them is now the voice of the question that follows.
- The item question is a match, not a treatment choice. A sprain needs the cold pack and the splint, so “which item should you use” had no single right answer once the four steps are taught together.
- Buttons came off the picture. Where the original drew an arrow pointing at navigation, the controls move to where the arrow pointed instead.
- DRAFT – the answer feedback is ours, not hers. The brief states the responder and kit scenarios but never the correct answers or the wording that comes back when a child picks one. The right answers are read off her own recorded scenarios; the sentences explaining them were written here and need Velma’s approval before this ships.
