Four driveways. One conversation.
Short films about the moment a parent realizes nobody actually taught their kid this — and what happened after. Every one of them is true to how it really goes.
The sidewalk
Your kid loves the bike, and the neighbour has seen enough. After the course, she watches him ride it right and stops worrying. He keeps his freedom, and you get to stop nagging.
The empty lot
Your kid thinks the brakes are for the very last second, and the neighbour has noticed. So you take him to an empty lot, where he finds out what the brakes really do. Now he stops right where he means to, and you can breathe again.
Nobody taught him
Your kid has had the bike three weeks, and nobody ever showed him how to look behind him. The course teaches him one quick look over his shoulder before he pulls out. Now the neighbour nods instead of wincing, and you can watch him go.
Thirty things
You have the checklist, but you’re not a cycling instructor, and you don’t need to be. Your kid works through the course and ticks off the list herself. You get to cheer from the driveway instead of guessing with a wrench.
He earned it
Every morning it’s the same fight about riding to school. When your kid passes the course, the badge goes up on the fridge and the argument is over. He earned the ride, and you know he’s ready for it.
