Three situations, and every one of them is a real thing that happens on an ordinary afternoon. Move the Trust Meter, then read what happens next.
There is a knock. On the doorbell camera it is somebody in a delivery uniform holding a pizza box. Nobody in your house ordered a pizza.
The front door
The phone rings. A friendly voice says they are from the electricity company and asks whether your mom or dad is home.
The kitchen phone
Mr Taylor from two doors down knocks. He is friendly, you have known him for years, and he says he just needs to come in and grab something he lent your dad.
